My First Rant
I decided I would start blogging again. Previously I would bitch about all kinds of things that I found to be ironic, or just plain stupid, daily experiences I had, and of course, my relationship.
Today marks day one of many rants to come, luckily this one won’t take long.
Here’s my bitch. I spent all this time going through one blog site after another and then finally decided to check out tumblr since a friend uses it, and his blog looks pretty cool. I get here and start messing around with the themes, only to find that, like most other blog sites/free web hosts/etc, all of the default themes are just ugly. “Not a problem” I think to myself. I’ll just find one through google.
So… off I go to google, searching for a dark, edgy, theme. To my surprise, after looking at 5 different theme hosting sites, I found that I wasn’t seeing what I wanted. Instead, I saw each individual site hosting the same 20 something templates, with the exception of two, and nothing I liked. On one of the sites I stumbled over this template, which works for me for now, but still doesn’t satisfy me.
Now, I know this seems pretty lame to get worked up over, but I want my blog to speak! I’m talking dark colours, bloody roses, something that makes me say “Wow, this is intense.” So… Off I go to design my own I guess!
